Winter is coming!


How do you feel about Winter? Some people love it and some don’t. I have to be honest I am not a fan; I much prefer Summer.

We are now in the last quarter of 2021; how do you use your last quarter?

Some people think it is a short one and don’t really count December as most people are on holidays for 2 weeks. Some use it to tidy things up and get ready for the next year, whilst other’s see it as just a normal quarter.

I see it as a mix of all 3. Yes, December is a short month especially If like us you also have birthdays in December, however October and November are normal months for me and its business as usual. But what I do, do, I use the winter months to focus on me and my business. These are the months that I invest in myself, most people wait until January as this is the New Year, new beginnings and all of that, but why wait? All you are doing is putting your life on hold for 3 months. Use the dark shorter days to focus on you.

Imagine if you invest in yourself now, you will be ready to hit the ground running in January, rather than invest in yourself in January and hitting the ground in March/April. Take the longer, darker nights, the slower months to invest in you. Take up a new hobby, get to the gym, sort out your diet (you can have a pass for Christmas) or take it a step further and really invest in you, get yourself a coach, a person who can help you be the best version of yourself and really help you hit the ground running in 2022. Someone like me!

Never wait to invest in yourself, if you will there always be something or someone else that is more important, put yourself on top of that list this Autumn/Winter, you will see the benefits in every aspect of your life, I promise.

Also, by having something to focus on during Winter, you are more likely to avoid SAD syndrome (Seasonal Affective Disorder) this is when people who are fine the rest of the year really start to struggle, some symptoms are sleeping too much, having little energy and enthusiasm and overeating, all things that are not good for you. However, by investing in yourself this will really help combat any of these symptoms, as you will have a focus, a goal and someone like me giving you gentle pushes throughout the winter months.

Give yourself and early Christmas gift, invest in yourself today, you deserve it.
